How can I take a picture with the object in black and white and black?
I want to take a photo in black and white. I want the subject to be black & white and the background to be black. What materials do I need? camera settings? Flash or no flash? Details would be good.
Something like that? Http://www.postmyimage.com/images/imagespID26566.jpg I can tell you how * I * did, but that does not mean YOU can do the same. A simple background of black chiffon was used, size 12 ft x 30 ft, I used a strobe key umbrella with good model. A white reflector was used to model the left. A strobe light hair was controlled with shutters used above the head model on the left. Ratio of light was aprx. 1 stop light on the hair, as measured with a meter external light to measure the production strobe with radio control. Photo was taken with a film camera Mamiya 645 with Fuji Pro 400H film shot at 320 ISO. Treatment Chromatics in Nashville, TN and scanned at the time of treatment.
